What would be the code in order Excel asks to every user if he wants to activate macros ?

I still know it is possible to configure it un Tools, Security, but more than 50 users in all over the world will use my file. It's impossible the 50 users have the macros activated and I cannot ask to each other to change his personal settings.

I mean even if the security settings automatically desactivate macros, the windows asking the user if he wants to activate macros must be activated.

Any way to do that without having personnaly to ask users to change is settings ?

Usually the question is how to deativate the Macro prompt. I have asked this myslef.

By default the Question to activate macro will pop up. UNLESS ,like you said, the security setting are high and it automatically disables. BUt weven in that case the user will be notified that the file contains macros and they might be potentially harmfull etc.

If Macros are required for the function of the sheet you could use VB to hide all but one sheet that say
"enable macros to use this sheet. Please reopen and enable macros"
If Macros are enable on open then the splash sheet is hidden the rest of the sheets become visible.

The code to make sheet invisible is:
Code:
Sheet1.Visible = True
[INDENT]or
[/INDENT]Sheet1.Visible = False
