AS400 information imported to excel

I am looking for some help to find a way to import information from the AS400 system into an excel spreadsheet. For those not familiar with AS400 it is a very archaic program. All information taken from AS400 needs to be manually typed into a new spreadsheet in excel. I am hoping someone on here has worked with AS400 and has a suggestion for some code to speed up the process. Thanks in advance
