Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Can you explain in words what you are trying to do?

Also I note that what seems to be your named range refers to D5:E7 but that range appears to be empty. Is there something more we should know here?

Does the data in A5:B12 have anything to do with the question?

Excuse me.

Excuse me. Named range must be:

Bloque=($A$1:$B$3,$A$5:$B$7)

Simply, I want to know if it is possible or not, to construct a Array Formula (CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER), varying the Argument “Area” within function INDEX.
For instance, I put several examples where erroneous results are obtained (SUM, AVERAGE...).
They do not interest other solutions to me, simply to prove if it is possible to obtain matrix variation on INDEX ( , , ,area)

I have the impression that you are looking for something like ARRAY.JOIN that comes with the morefunc.xll add-in.

Hi, Aladin:
Thank you very much.

Its answer is very useful. Not as solution to a concrete problem, but rather, to come from You, since it allows me to affirm that:

the argument "Accountant of Area" within a function INDEX does not admit loops by means of row (indirect (“1: “&Areas (rng))), or some other resource. (and CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER)

I thank for the suggestion to use the Add-in of Laurent Longre, but my objective when proposing the question is merely theoretical, and I know other ways to obtain results with VBA, UDF, OFFSET-MATCH, etc.
