Array type formula

Just found out about a formula in Goggle Sheets called ARRAYFORMULA. If you have in cells A2:A10 the numbers 1-9, this formula can be entered into cell B2 to instantly give a calculation, let's say, of each number in column A multiplied by 2. I tried using SUMPRODUCT in Excel, but not getting the same result. How can this be done in Excel?

What version of Excel are you using?

Perfect, thanks. I wonder why it does not require using SHIFT-CTRL-} to enter it as an array formula?

You no longer need to use Ctrl Shift Enter for any formula in 365.
