Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi

Could you please elaborate a bit
I found a solution. I had to write the formula by referring to cell numbers with the values in them so that the formula cell would alter its answer according to changing values in the referred cells. I'm very much a rookie here. Took an Excel course 15 years ago. So now the formula is staged. Before, I was inserting the actual values in the formula string, and it would produce an answer, but if anything changed, I would have to start over.
