approve the whole week with one click

Hi, This website has helped me very much. This is the first time I am asking a question.
I have created a database for the employees of my company to enter their time worked. They enter the amount of time they devoted to different tasks. Their supervisor must look at each employee's time card each week and approve it.
My question is:
How can I have the supervisor approve a whole week with one click.

The time tracking table has a field called approval status and it is a check box.
Currently the supervisor uses a form to view and approve one day at a time.

hi

sounds like you need an update query.

you'll need to filter for the week you want to update

should be easy from the help files...

if you want it automated you can do some visual basic to ask the user for the week on their form and then use sql to update...

Thank you very much. It worked like a charm. I added a button to the form which runs the query, everybody is happy.
