I'm trying to apply a conditional gradient fill inside the bars of a bar chart to illustrate differences in temperature based on position. Blue shades for the coldest temperature and red shades for the hottest.

Data is set up in this way:
Column A1:A6 contains the positions (6 positions)
Column B1:B:6 contains the temperature readings (1 reading per position)

Any ideas on how this can be done?

Thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Peter,
This way would be a little hard to do as the "limits" for the gradient will vary depending on the range of values.

Thanks,
