I have a basic Table of Projects similar to this:

Project Name Month
Proj01 Bob 1
Proj01 Bob 2
Proj01 Bob 3
Proj01 Jack 4
Proj01 Jack 5

I can take table out to excel and add Min & Max formula to present as:

Project Name StartM EndM
Proj1 Bob 1 3
Proj1 Jack 4 5

I cannot however figure out how to do this in access, guidance appreciated

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
You would use an Aggregate (Totals) Query to do this in Access (you can Google it).

The SQL code for the query would look something like this:
Code:
SELECT Projects.Project, Projects.Name, Min(Projects.Month) AS StartM, Max(Projects.Month) AS EndM
FROM Projects
GROUP BY Projects.Project, Projects.Name;
