Apply Formula in cell with 2 values

HI, forgive what may be a stupid question, but I have a supplier that sends me a massive sheet with one particular column that contains the following type entry. 2 / 9 or 4 / 11 etc with value on either side of the slash varying. I need to apply a formula the can differentiate and interpret the value on either side. Is this at all possible

Hi

The easiest way is to split the column in 2, each with 1 of the values. You can use Text-to-Columns to do it.
