Is there a way to insert a clickable Icon in the StatusBar? You know, something like the Record Macro button.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
You can tailor which built-in options are available but I have never found any way to add custom buttons/icons and I don't think it's possible. That's what the Quick Access Toolbar is for.

(I don't like to make absolute statements that something is not possible because sometimes there are esoteric or prohibitively convoluted solutions.)
