Hi. I have a long macro that executes automatically every day. In order to reduce the execution time, I've seen that I can use Application.ScreenUpdating, since I don't need to see what the macro is doing.
My question is: what does application refer to?
I ask this because the macro runs from one excel file, but the real changes are done in a couple other excels this macro opens. I've set it False at the beginning, before the macro opens these files, and True again after they are both saved and closed. The file that executes the macro is just a dummy one and it actually doesn't change.
Did I do it right or will the 2 files that the macro open not properly work?
Thank you
