All,

I have a connection from excel to a MS Access query that is located on my machine. At this point when I refresh the query it will reload the entire table. However after the initial load and getting my history set up I would like to only update weekly data going forward. This means that I need my query to append my table vs replacing it.

I tried selecting the table options in Power Query Editor and selecting append, however this again replaced my table with the new information.

I also am updated other connections so having the solution work when I select Refresh ALL would be great.

Any help finding this function/option would be appreciated. Thank you

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi Gro,
what you're looking for sounds not possible with MS Query. What you'd probably want to do:
-have a query with the data of the last week
-refresh that query
-add that query to a table, that table should have no connection with your database, just be plain data.
-A macro could check the last-week-query data and add it to the table if there is new info
Cheers,
Koen

Darn, I was hoping for a more streamlined approach. Thank you for the response, I'll proceed that way.
