Hi,

I am in the market for a new monitor and have been thinking what to get.

Given that im currently using an Acer G246HL connected by vga to my laptop
(24") - 16:9 - 1920 x 1080 -

The next step up in resolution is either 1920x1200 or 2560x1440, and had been even considering the 29" 2560 x 1080 displays.

Then it got me thinking that the 4K monitors are out and whether they offer any real benefit now.

What screen size and resolution do you think is best for large spreadsheet work?

thanks in advance.

PS(hopefully this is the right forum for this type of Q)
