Hi All

Anyone know of a good Outlook forum (not the Outlook newsgroups thanks - have yet to receive a useful answer from there) along the lines of MrExcel.com?

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Neil

Thanks for that - I've used some code from there before - it's a great resource and one that I had forgotten about. Actually, that showed me something else useful (I wanted a book on Outlook Programming) so I'm going to buy the Mosher book.

Richard,

I know what you mean, but I stopped using MS newsgroups a long time ago, even for Excel queries. I recently had some problems with Windows Mail (prior to installing Office 2007) conflicting with my anti-virus software and ended up using google to find the answer, because the newsgroup was so poor.

I actually just had Sue Mosher herself reply (very helpfully) to my earlier Newsgroup post. Thanks for the heads up again Neil :-D

...And, if you want to see what Sue Mosher does, go to her site.
Another one worth looking at -- no newsgroup, but some useful stuff on Outlook and integration with Access / Excel / Word, is Helen Feddema's site. Some good code samples there.

Sue sold slipstick.com to another company headed up by another Outlook MVP in 2004 - she is no longer connected with that website. In fact, it's slipstick.com that the ******* pointed me to to buy a commercial solution. I won't go anywhere near that site now - it's really pissed me off.

The ******* suggests a link to that place in loads of his posts - he really discredits the other Outlook MVPs if you ask me (yes, I'm still bitter). I got some excellent suggestions from both Sue Mosher and Ken Slovak though, so like I say, not all Outlook MVPs are the same...

Helen Feddema? Yep, I've got several of her books, and one that specifically deals with Access integration with other Office Apps - and it is very, very good!

Hi Richard, glad you agree with me about Helen Feddema. I reckon she covers her niche very well. I've got 3 of her books.
Sorry to hear about slipstick.com -- I used to like that site, but I know what you mean about idiots who insist on selling a utility instead of giving some good basic information.
Come to think of it, our very own firefytr knows a thing or two about Outlook...
