I know this isn't exactly like your formula, but it does give you a starting point. I'm hoping you have FILTER and VSTACK. I didn't want to take the time to create 29 sheets.

=SUM(FILTER(VSTACK('1:8'!E6:E36),VSTACK('1:8'!A6:A36)=A6,0))

Oh, the reference '1:8'! are the sheets you are referencing. The sheet tabs have to be next to each other to work
