Here's what I want to work out for my holiday rentals:
Let's say (for a certain week) $540 is theprice...
ALTHOUGH - I want this to look like a 10% discounted price (for example $600 - 10% = $540)
Then I have to divide the $540 by 7 to get the discounted daily price.
Get my drift?
But how can I easily work out the 'pre-discounted' values with excel? (i.e $600)
Just to make it clearer:
I have a list of original (10% 'discounted') weekly prices like $540, $630, $720 for example and I want to do the reverse % formula to turn them into $600, $700, $800...
THEN divide them by 7 to get the daily prices ($600 ÷ 7, $720 ÷ 7 etc.) in a nice efficient and fast way with excel.
Would appreciate it if you could help, thanks - Jenny
