Answering a private message.

Could any of you explain to me how to answer a private message?
When I click on "reply" I do not get an empty box where to type my answer.
Got one today and typed an answer within the same box and sent it but I'm not sure if this works or not.
Please advise with thanks.

Usually when you hit reply the box will not be empty; rather, it will be filled with a quote from the last person so if you scroll to the bottom of the box you type in your reply and submit

thank you jeff ... do I need to precede my answer with anything other than text? The merssage I got was preceded with quote and ended
with /quote

No you don't even have to quote the message if you don't fell like it.

If you quote something you would use the tags from above. After the first quote and before the beggining of the second quote is where the quote would go.

The message board understands it as a quote and puts the words in a box.

When creating a thread you can do the same thing there with any vba code you might have a question over.
