...he showed the key to his cousin -a professor in ancient languages and history- who assumed it was the long lost key to the lost city of Ath'urzan. He decided to assemble a posse to undertake this quest, so he went to the library, where upon at a table near the back he found...

...a note with his name on it, he picked it up with curiosity to know what it says, he was utterly shocked, it threatens him with death if he continues in his research, he slowly and with fear looks around, all quite and normal, he decided to read a few books about the history of Ath'urzan and returned home, where he thought he'd be safe, and while he was preparing his daily coffee, he heard noise outside his house, he stepped outside and started looking around the house to check out this noise, he saw...

...His neighbour mowing the lawn. "Nothing special, don't freak out." he thought. He returned to house to finish his coffee, and a minute later another unusual sound shattered the silence. He stepped outside once more, and this time he didn't saw his neighbour, he saw stone statue of his neighbour holding a lawn mower. He asked himself: "Can this be...

...His neighbour mowing the lawn. "Nothing special, don't freak out." he thought. He returned to house to finish his coffee, and a minute later another unusual sound shattered the silence. He stepped outside once more, and this time he didn't saw his neighbour, he saw stone statue of his neighbour holding a lawn mower. He asked himself: "Can this be...

...True?" He couldn't believe his eyes, he screamed out loud: "Leave me alone, I mean it, get out of my life!". He spent the rest of the day inside of the house securing it and waiting for something to show up.. but nothing.
The sun began to fall, he went to bed early, He just wanted this nightmare to end.
He woke up on the sound of footsteps, it was 1:45 Am, his whole body shivered ,he slowly picked up the phone and called the police, telling them someone broke into his house, after a while the police arrived...
"The house is empty sir" said one cop "and we checked your neighbor, he's traveled to California last week, he wasn't home yesterday, plus we didn't find that statue"
After the police were gone, he thought of a tour with his car to breathe some fresh air and think about what happened, but he felt he was followed, he took some rights and lefts to make sure, the car was actually following him, so he immediately......

...decided to hit the breaks and face his tail. The following car also stopped. There was few meters space between them so he couldn't see the face of the driver, but he heard the same noise as earlier that day. Minuts had passed and driver remained motionless. "Still like a stone..." thought Jack as he opened the door and steped outside the car. Walking slowly toward second car...

..it exploded! it was fast, it amazed him, he stood there for seconds watching this, he called an ambulance and left immediately, he was confused, he's not safe... He decided to take a ship and go to the island of Ath'urzan, unaware to the risks he's taking, even if he could make it alive to the island, it's full of dangerous creatures and the city itself is protected with traps and it's a certain-death journey but he accepted that fact.
So he went home and prepared for that trip....
