...and REPORTS problem

sorry for posting them in seperate posts...

i have a report in which i have a text box called LENGTH & WIDTH

if length=13
and width=13

the answer shows as 117910 ??????????? im sure that actual answer is 169?

whats happening here?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
We need more information to help you here.

Show us the SQL for the report or explain better what it is the report is trying to do.

I'm assuming that you have tetboxes called [Length] and [Width] ...

You need a third textbox (unbound), called [Area]. Its recordsource is
=[Length]*[Width]

And you may also be falling foul of reserved words in Access using Width.
