AND NOT expression

Please can anyone tell me what the AND NOT expression is in Access 2002 (XP). I'm doing a query to pull out data and need to add a AND NOT onto the query.

If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

Are you using it in Criteria, or in a calculated field?

Can you give some more details on the fields involved and exactly what you are trying to say with the statement?
