There is an icon button when you view a report that lets you export the report to Word or Excel.

Because the people where I work are STUPID and can not click on the drop down box to choose Excel. Is there a way that I can have the Excel button be the default instead of Word.

Thanks.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Not that I can think of. What I would do is to create a custom toolbar, add the "Office Links" button (among others that you will use), and then take out the 2 Word items within that button/menu. Then make that toolbar the default for your Database.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks Russell,

I decided that if the users can't click on a drop down box and choose an application. They have no business touching the database.

Yes, I want to make things simple for them, but I have already made things as simple for them as I could. And dammit, there managers let them make a decision in regards to them knowing if they need more computer training.

Yes I am venting a bit.
