Dear All,

I want to create an Excel file to calculate automatically the Days off of my work for the year 2024.
It's really very tricky and I can't do it myself and I will need your help!

As you can see in the image I send, I have 25 days per year.
So I create an Excel to calculate the total days I have, the days I have already take and the days left of.

In the cell C4 till cell C13 I put the days I take (1 or more days).

In the cell H1 is the days off I took till today.
So for a blank sheet should remain 0.
Here is the tricky thing.
If I put in the cell C4 1 or more days the cell H1 should remain 0 because it's my first apply for day off and I haven't apply for a day off yet.
For example.

If I put 1 day off in the cell C4 the cell H1 should remain 0, the cell H2 should remain 25 and the cell C3 must show 24 days left.
Let's assume the I put another apply for days off in the following cells.
If I put for example 5 days off in the cell C5 the column H should appears like the following:

H1 = 1
H2 = 24
H3 = 19

If I put 4 days in the cell C6 the H column should appears like:

H1 = 6
H2 = 19
H3 = 15

I hope to understand the logic of this.
Can you please anyone help me how to do this?

Thank you very very much!!!

PS) Excuse me for my English!

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
"If I put 1 day off in the cell C4 the cell H1 should remain 0, the cell H2 should remain 25 and the cell C3 must show 24 days left."

C3 is blank. Do you mean C2 ?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your answer.
No I mean the C4 cell (no the C3 or C2).
In each cell from C4 to C13 I put a number.
This number represents the days I take my Day off.

Please let me know if you want additional information.
