I am fairly new to Access and a decent amateur at Excel. Here is a brief summary of what I would like to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am more than willing to do plenty of research to learn the necessary coding.

I am currently using three applications:

1) EXCEL for estimating
2) MS PROJECT for Project Management
3) QUICKBOOKS for accounting

I would like to build an app. in access that will allow me to move all of my pricing data into an access database and then from within access:

1) create and save estimate
2) if estimate is accepted export data to MS PROJECT and QUICKBOOKS to create new files with information from the estimate.

I hope this can be done reasonably with VBA. I have used VBA extensively within EXCEL, but have yet to attempt cross-platform projects.

My ultimate goal would be to enter all project updates through the ACCCESS app. and have it update MS PROJECT and QUICKBOOKS.

At this point I would appreciate any input into the feasibility of this project and the best place to start learning how to manipulate data between applications.

Thank you,

Paul
