I have the below options ticked in sheet protection, but excel refuses to allow me to delete rows when protection is applied. All cells are unlocked except for one column which is locked to stop another person accidentally overtyping a formula

The delete/insert options are not greyed out when highlighting a row and right-clicking

I can insert a new row but when I try to delete one, I get this message

Is the document potentially corrupted as this seems strange behaviour.

Thanks
Chris

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
I would first try a 'repair' of Excel on your machine. Perhaps an update or something else corrupted part of the software.

I don't think you can delete a row if any cell on that row is locked.
