Hi everyone,

I am just getting into Excel and VBA so please excuse my stupid questions.

I have a really long excel sheet which is filled from bottom. There is a date columns well as other specific data rows. My issue is I want to open the excel sheet with the last (bottom) row visible. Not a specific row, but the last added data - where I last left off. I enter data every day and I would like to get to that point when I open sheet.
Is this a simple one?

Apologies if this an awkward one.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
If you want to avoid VBA use these 2 keys to be taken to where Excel thinks is the last used cell
{ctrl} {end}

If there is always data in column A, select any cell in column A and
{end}{down arrow}

Otherwise put this VBA in the ThisWorkbook module, save and close the file
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
   Application.Goto Reference:=Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp)
End Sub
above VBA takes user to last used cell in column A in active sheet when workbook is opened
