Good day, Excel people~!
I've been given a little problem to investigate at my work; a colleague has a generic sheet that he wishes to post onto our company Sharepoint so that multiple people may open it and add whatever info is relevant to them. The problem is that these people have a tendency to edit cells they shouldn't and Sharepoint doesn't support the protection of cells in a sheet (FOR SOME BLOODY REASON).
I'm trying to see whether there might be some alternatives to protection which may have a similar effect of stopping wayward clicks and edits to cells which shouldn't be edited. If it helps, most of these cells are specific columns and the remaining ones are rows.
Any kind of suggestions or request for clarification of the problem are entirely welcome, and thank you wonderful people for your time!
