Alternative to MAXIFS when criteria range is not same size as min range

Hi

I'm basically looking for a VLOOKUP where it would have multiple hits but only to return the MAX hit value.
I thought MAXIFS was my saviour however my ranges aren't the same sizes.

Any ideas on what else I could try please?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
