Hi all,

is there a work around for coloring a tab in a shared workbook.

i have a workbook which myself and another share for my supplier accounts and the tabs are colored depending on if they need to be actioned.
i update them by coloring the tabs Red, Orange & Green on the tabs themselves and then update my summary sheet, which i have a VBA button to action that, it works perfect.

i was wondering if there is a VBA code i could use to color the tabs or to allow to bring back the option to color the tabs, as the option to color tabs is removed when using a sharing document.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I'm afraid it's not possible to colour tabs on shared document. As you've noticed you excel won't allow to colour tabs on shared document and it won't allow from VBA either. I recomend you finger out another way totofor perresrnt those tabs need to be actioned or turn off the shared option.

sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I have found a way around this. Rather than sharing the document itself, place the document inside a shared folder inside Onedrive and then It can be done. Allow all to edit.
