Hi all, I have a protected sheet with a bunch of columns, and I wanted to allow the user to be able to filter only one of these columns (they can filter their name). Is there any way to do this?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
It appears if you have filter handles on a group of columns a user will be able to filter any column even if the cells of these columns are locked and the sheet is protected to prevent selecting locked cells.

You could try to simply place the filter handle on just the name column and then protect the sheet allowing the use of auto-filter. This would achieve the same result.
