Hi, I have allowed edit ranges for a number of different people. Once setup I have then locked the cells and protected the sheet.

When I try and cursor around now, the cursor is erratic taking me everywhere but to the cell i want to change?

Am I correct to lock the cells? I dont see how else it can work?

Also, very oddly, my cursoe when moved to the left beyond column A it suddenly jumps to column FX!!!

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
First of all you need to clear Lock checkbox for cells you want users to select and edit.
Secondly when locking a worksheet you need to:

- check Select unlocked cells
- check/uncheck Select locked cells (this is up to you)

Excel skips selecting locked cells when "Select locked cells" was unchecked when you locked a worksheet. So if you mislocked some cells you will end up with problems you mentioned.
