Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
If you are using Excel 365, you can use the new FILTER function and exclude blanks, as shown here:

If the cells are truly blank and do not contain zero-length strings, the criteria to filter them out is simply <>. If you still can't get it to work, please provide some sample data that shows how your data is structured and which columns you're attempting to filter by.
