Hello,

I want to open .PDF-FILES (Acrobat Reader) from Access. I used an ActiveX Control to do this. Normally in the properties of the ActXC, you have to set the absolute path where the PDF-file is stored.

But the database will be used by different users, who are not connected to each other and have probably different ways of storing there files. Is there anyway to make the path variable and that the path is inserted by the user on the first use of the database manually using VBA-code...?

Thanks,

WFS
