I have several slicers in use, and each contains large amount of data.
When I choose a filter in one the other slicers adjust, but they still present all the other options "grayed out".
I read a book that explains how to remove all the irrelevant data from the additional slicers (using DAX), so that you won't need to scroll a lot.
Unfortunately, I can't find it :(
Can somebody share BKM/Exmaple?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
I checked it everything on and off.

Nothing gives me the desired output.

I will clarify the Q-
Say I have 1 slicer of districts: A, B, C
2nd slicer is countries: Aa, Ab, Ac, Ba, Bb, Be, Cc, Cf, Cr

If I choose district A I want to have only Aa, Ab and Ac in the second slicer

Hope that clarifies,
Thx

That should "just work". The only thing I can think of is you don't have anything in the value portion of your pivot table?

Interesting. So your problem was that your fields were from a hierarchy? Admittedlyl I seldom use that feature... :)
