I have a database of addresses were each family member, i.e. husband and wife, are listed in separate records or rows but the remaining address field values are identical (Street, City, State, Zip) I have separated the first and last names into separate columns but they remain in their respective rows – I have tried several procedures in both access and excel but I am still unable to join the first name of each duplicate address into one field….
This what I have:
John Smith 308 Anywhere St. Anytown Anycity 00000
Mary Smith 308 Anywhere St. Anytown Anycity 00000
This is what I am trying to achieve:
John and Mary Smith 308 Anywhere St. Anytown Anycity 00000
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you
Vince
