Adding Time

I am trying to add the following Column A1: C1 to get total in Column D1 and can't seem to get it to come out correctly. Please help.

Column A1= 1:38 (1hr,38 minutes
Column B1= :28 (28minutes)
Column C1= :17 (17minutes)
Column D1= 2:23 (2hrs, 23 minutes)

Yeah I tried that and this is what I am getting.

Not sure why but it will not add in any column that have just minutes.

Change :13 to 0:13.
