Hello people

Just been having a Google re adding text and a formula to a shape
and found nothing that suggests that this is possible. But I'm sure I saw a video on just this thing a few months back. Annoyingly I cant find that video now - so maybe it was a dream.

If someone could confirm if this is/isnt possible I could sleep happy tonight. I'm hoping to achieve something like

"Total Distribution " & sum(B4:B81) all sitting within a single rounded rectangle.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Put that formula in a cell, e.g. A99, select the shape and enter =A99 in the formula bar.
