Hello all,
I was wondering if there's a way to "make" the pivot charts plot the line for the grand total column as well... not just the "inner" columns.
Suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi,
Why not making a chart that is NOT a pivot chart?
Just select the range of preference (including Grand Total).

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
One reason is that I'd like to update the data, and hence the chart on occasion. The updates might change the dimensions of the table, which would require extra work updating the regular chart.

Could you use =OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,0,0,COUNTA(Sheet1!$A:$A)) or GETPIVOTDATA to make it dynamic?
Just a thought.

GETPIVOTDATA
that link describe the basic use of the above mentioned formula. Note the syntax, this allowing you to retrieve ant data from a pivot. Such would permit you to create a dummy range that would dynamically be linked to your PT.
