Adding excel version to profile

It seems a constant request made of mostly new posters to state their version of xl. if the sign up page included a mandatory checkbox frame with versions, then it would be possible to include that info in the profile and display it along with location etc in the forums. any thoughts.

for completeness, when an existing user logs in, if this has not been set, then a quick pop up could gather the info
 
I see you have made a few posts with suggestions to this Forum.

Just an FYI, most of these suggestions have been brought up many times before, with lots of discussion (those horses have been sufficiently flogged!).

If you Search the "About This Board" forum, you should be able to see a lot of these discussions (and by "Search", I mean using the Advanced Search functionality on the board, not look through them one-by-one).
