Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Maybe this:
Excel Formula:
=LEFT(A1,LEN(A1)-3)&"."&RIGHT(A1,3)

If you’re dealing with numbers, just divide by 1000.
…and if you don’t want a separate formula that performs the dividing, then consider dividing the numbers in place. To do that, enter 1000 anywhere on your worksheet. Copy it to the clipboard. Then select your list of numbers and choose Home>Paste Special then select the Divide option. Your list of numbers will be divided by the value in the clipboard. Then ensure the numbers are formatted to show three decimal places. The 1000 entry can then be deleted.
