Hi

I would like to input a date formula into the middle of a statement, i believe the concatenate formula can be used but i can't get the formula to work, any help pls

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
="something "&TEXT(NOW(),"ddd dd mmmm yyyy")&" something else"

can you elaborate on how to add the formula, the date is in another cell in date format, also what is "NOW"?

If you pasted that into a cell on your sheet you will see the result

Now() returns the date/time value for the system date.

you should be able to substitute Now() with your cell reference

The & is equivalent to concatenate and easier to spell
