Hi,

I have a report that is generated from a single table.

I want to add another control source from another table. How can I modify the report so that it presents the data from the "other" control source?

Thanks in advance,

Tanya

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hi tanya_samman,

Add a sub-report to the report. Its on the control toolbox one up from the bottom right. You can set the record source of that subreport to another table, and the control sources of the objects in the subreport to that table. You can play with the subreport properties such as format.border to make a seemless transition from report to subreport.

edit:
Its not likely you acually need to do this. More likely, you need a query joining the two tables and your report would look to that query.

HTH,
