Hi Guys,

I have an excel file with some file/style name with corresponding file/style weight.

WEIGHT.xlsx
ABCD
1STYLEWEIGHT
2AA-001110
3AA-002130
4AA-003150
5AA-004170
6AA-005190
Sheet3
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D3:D6D3=D2+20

And I also have some files in a folder in "E" drive, with the style name with some prefix as below.

SS_AA-001.xls
SS_AA-002.xls
SS_AA-003.xls
SS_AA-004.xls
SS_AA-005.xls
SS_AA-006.xls
SS_AA-007.xls
SS_AA-008.xls

I would like to match the file name & put the corresponding weight into each file in CELL A5 in Sheet1.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
