I have dates in Col D and time in Col G

I have tried to combine the time with the date but cannot get formula to work

Code:
=12/1/2018 "& text(G3,"hh:mm")&" (format dd/mm/yyyý)

It would be appreciated if someone could assist me

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
If you have real dates and times in both columns just add them together,

=D3 + G3

and format as required.

Thanks Norie

I set up a separate column to add this. The other alternative is to change say D3 to = Date(2018;01,20) + G3
