Add tick marks to a pie chart

Hi, I´ve been having problem with adding tick marks to a pie chart. I want to add tick marks to the outer edge of the chart. I know Pie charts do not have axis so I´m not sure how to accomplish this.

I´ve seen done similarly on http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/Speedometer.html
so I guess it can be done.

Can someone help?
