Hey alright, welcome back, it’s another MrExcel netcast, I'm Bill Jelen.
A cool trick that came along in Excel 2007, I never even realized this was here.
Of course, you can set the print area, so I choose Page Layout, Print Area, Set Print Area, that's just like File, Print Area, Set Print Area that we've had for a while.
But then, if you need to print another section, check this out, when we go back to Print Area, there's a new thing here now called Add to Print Area.
Alright, so I can have non-contiguous ranges that I want to add together into a single print area.
The only downside with this is that when we go into Print Preview, you'll see that it automatically throws a Page Break between each of those sections.
So as I go from section to section to section, it doesn't put them all together, that would have been a really cool thing.
If you want them to print all on the same page, you're going to have to use the camera tool to paste all those together, pictures on one page.
But if you're good enough with putting them out on separate pages, a great, great trick there, the Page Layout, Print Area, Add to Print Area, very cool feature, new in Excel 2007.
Hey, I want to thank you for stopping by, we'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel!
