Is it possible with some sort of formula to only add negative values? I can't think of any way of doing it.

This is the table, values are in cell B2 through B7
John Doe -35.75
Mike Smith 9.05
Jason Hill 21.48
Mark G 23.02
Mike Frot -25.92
Jimmy Smith -26.17

In Cell F2 I would like the sum of only the negative values.
F2 would equal -87.84

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Use SUMIF:
Code:
=SUMIF(B2:B7,"<0")

You are welcome.

Note that there is a companion "COUNTIF" function for counting records that meet certain criteria.
And there are SUMIFS and COUNTIFS functions that allow multiple criteria.
