Started with the following formula, then made it fit the start of what I needed. =COUNTIF(A:A,"*MISS*") it helped but I need to add more to it. I have tried and tried but keeping getting errors. I have one workbook with multiple sheets here is the start of the formula that is working =COUNTIF(MAY!D10:D24,"*LOANS*") but I need to add my other sheets to the formula so I have an overall count. I have tried several different ways to put the other sheets in the formula and nothing I have tried is working I keep getting erros. Could someone please help? Thank you!

Hi,

Just to make sure I understand, it looks like you are trying to count how many times the word "LOANS" appears in more than one worksheet?

Kinda of....It was the start of a longer formula. If this part contains "loan" then give me a sum in this field....I had all the formula for each but was having issues adding my additional sheets. Redwolfx response worked the formula will just be really long. Thank you both for your time and help!
