Hello,

I have a list of batch numbers (column A) along with the item number for the batch (column B) and a list of what ingredients were used in the batch (column C). I then have on sheet 2 a standard ingredient list for each item which has item in column A and then a list of ingredients in column B. I need to check the batches on sheet 1 against the standard list on sheet 2 to see if any ingredients have been removed from the original standard and add a row for each missing ingredient on sheet 1 for each batch.

Thanks

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I've attached a link where I've explained it better along with a sample workbook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, if you are going to Cross-Post your questions, be sure to mention you are doing so, and provide links, as is explained in rule 13 here: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-announcements/99490-forum-rules.html

This way, other members can see what has already been done in regards to a question, and do not waste time working on a question that may already be answered.

Apologies Joe, never realized. I'll ensure both posted get updated if my problem gets solved on either.

Thanks
