Hello all!
Maybe someone here has found a solution. Our IT and I have been trying to figure this error out all day and it's no better. Our search has found the basic solution of changing the settings in IE to removing Excel 2016 and installing Office 365 and it's still doing it. IT is about ready to format the PC and start all over from scratch.
I can go to the MS Store download a new add-in and it will install it and I will select "trust add-in" and then it gives this error every time:
I have tested this in outlook and its the same problem, but I found it within excel.
One thing I did find is that the error creates an event log and the faulting application is Win32WebViewHost.exe but I cannot figure out why or how this connects to the add-in error.
Apologies that this is not purely an excel issue, but I am getting desperate to find a solution besides formating.
