Hello all. Looking for help. Have a column of units representing weight. Wanting to easily create a new column to represent shipping weight.

Would like to know a good formula for adding 50 pounds to any number in the column over its original 100 pounds.

Best way to proceed would be? Will use this formula often!!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I have a spreadsheet that one of the categories/columns is "weight unit" that are in pounds (just the numbers are given not "lbs"). There are a variety of units/amounts. For everything over 100lbs I need to add an additional 50lbs so that the total in the new column would then be 150.

However I only need to add 50 to any number equal to or greater than 100.

What I would like to do is have a formula which allows me to highlight a whole section of numbers and any number 100 or greater automatically has 50 added to it without changing the amount for every number 99 and under.

Does that make more sense now?
Amy help you can give me would be appreciated!
